The Scott Lam-Pro Plastic Tab Laminator offers exceptional engineering and construction to put you in control of the hot deadlines and high quality your customers demand for index tab cards, catalogs, presentations, manuals, time systems, rate books, etc. Laminate up to 14,000 Pre-Printed Sheets per Shift In less than two seconds, the Lam-Pro feeds the plastic tape, wraps and folds it around the sheet, cuts the plastic to the selected length and smoothly bonds it to both sides. With minimal training and experience, one operator will produce upwards of 2,000 plastic laminated, ready-to-tabcut sheets per hour — up to 14,000 per shift. Side and full-length back guides assure accurate sheet positioning and automatic counter precisely records each operator's output. Quick, Easy Setups Keep High- and Low-Volume Jobs Profitable Complete Lam-Pro setups and changeovers require no tools, minimal skills and very little time. In just a few seconds you can set tab position — unclamp, move and reclamp the paper feed guide; change the plastic length — set the graduated scale to any position between 1 and 5-1/2 inches (25.4 mm and 140 mm). In less than one minute, change tab color — insert a new tape reel on the reel holder and thread the tape. The Lam-Pro is now ready to laminate high-volume or rush jobs as fast as your operator can insert each sheet. No Adjustment for Different Papers No adjustment is necessary when changing from one thickness of stock to another. The Lam-Pro will automatically bond the heat-sensitive plastic to paper thicknesses from a thin 7-pt. Ledger to a thick 25-pt. Pressboard. Safe, Easy Operation The operator simply inserts the sheet into the Lam-Pro. The high-speed, hardened and precision ground tool steel punch and dies accurately cut the plastic tape. Carbonized, hardened chrome-plated, precision ground steel platens bond the plastic to the paper. An individual heat control on each platen ensures quality lamination sheet after sheet. No need to worry about injuries at these high speeds either. The entire cutting and lamination process takes place in an enclosed area shielded from the operator. Proven to Last Users from around the world attest that the 1800 is a true workhorse. Ball bearings or bushings on all moving parts and fully automatic lubrication make this machine virtually maintenance free. Punch and dies cut clean time after time. A large tabletop provides a smooth surface to hold paper, while the heavy-duty base ensures vibration-free operation. The only maintenance your operator must perform is to routinely fill the automatic lubricator. Your machine will deliver quality laminations year after year without costly downtime or maintenance problems.
