Scott Office Systems uses only the highest quality materials in the manufacture of its Low Temp tabbing films. These films are recommended for use with delicate substrates where higher temperatures have a tendency to cause streaking or damage the paper. All of our standard Low Temp Index Tabbing Films are .003" thick and slit the width specified (+/- 1/32"). To minimize splices, reels are shipped at the length specified (+/- 5%). Scott currently offers three options for Lower Temperature processing: Clear Heavyweight Low Temp Our standard Low Temp product has been available for years and provides the same clarity and protection as our Regular Heavyweight Films. The recommended processing temperature for this film is 30-50 degrees lower than Regular Heavyweight Film*. Ultra Low Temp Similar in appearance to the Low Temp film, the recommended processing temperature for this film is 50-70 degrees lower than Regular Heavyweight Film*. HoldFast Specially formulated for use with hard to stick to coated stocks. HoldFast is a the ideal product to use with Xerox, Canon, and most other difficult digital outputs. The recommended operating temperature for HoldFast is 50-70 degrees lower than Regular Heavyweight Film*.
